Not every link on the website earns a commission. A link to a source, charity, veterinary organisation or retailer is not automatically a paid link.
Who handles your purchase?

What our recommendations mean
A commission is a commercial relationship; it is not proof that a product is safer, more sustainable or right for every pet. Our aim is to explain useful options alongside their limitations.
- Research comes first: product comparisons may draw on manufacturers’ specifications, retailer information and relevant published guidance.
- Environmental claims need context: labels such as natural, recycled or biodegradable do not automatically establish that a finished product is environmentally preferable.
- Testing is not assumed: a featured item has not necessarily been personally purchased or tested. We only describe hands-on testing when the article explicitly documents it.
- Pet safety matters: product suitability depends on the individual animal, its size, behaviour and needs.
